And Baby Makes 4!!

Since finding out we were pregnant we have had a Beautiful, Strong baby Boy. We named him after his father and my father, Stephen Joseph Hale. July 19th, 2010. He weighed 7.7oz and 20 in long. Stephen was born with fluid in his lungs and had to spend 11 days in NICU. We went everyday twice a day to visit and pray with Stephen. Finally he was healthy and was cleared to come home. Liberty is a great big sister and loves her baby Bubba!

A new addition!

While Derek took my dad to the OU/OSU game, I took a pregnancy test not really expecting anything. Little did I know it was positive. I am now almost 19 weeks along and we have great news! We are blessed to have a little BOY!! Derek is very excited although he was sure it was going to be a girl. I is just like being pregnant for the first time again. This will be a whole new wonderful adventure!! We have a named picked but not sure if thats the one yet.

Were seeing spots

Liberty came down with spots!... I thought they were chicken pocks but the doctor said it was viral and if she fevers it will spread. well she never fevered but they spread. from head to toes. I felt so bad. I couldn't get any good pictures so I have nothing to show are input. It's pretty much cleared up so we have it for over a week. poor baby girl.

We went to a park in Tulsa, and no i forgot where we went. but it had waterfalls, fountains, a bridge and beautiful trees. There were 99 pictures she gave us but i think she took a lot more than that, So hope you like them check out the website to see Libby's complete photo shoot!!

Getting the swing

Well vacations are done and things have settled down. Since returning home my kitty Yoda has been missing. I refuse to believe he is dead.... I believe he has found himself a girlfriend and has settled down somewhere. I love him and he is very much missed around here. Derek lets me keep the front porch light on at night, just in case.
School has started and I forget how things are in the beginning. My class is very quiet and they love to learn and color. Things are setting in for my TWO's that this happens every week. We didn't cry the first week but the sniffles have set in. We also had a wonderful friend of MiMi's take pictures of Liberty recently and they are awesome. http://picturesbymallory.shutterfly.com/ check out all of her pictures. Mallory is awesome and she did so well with Libby. We had tons of fun, except for the end when we were tired of being a super star. but even her sad pictures came out great. Here are some of our favorites!!

Our Summer Vacation

I am happy to report we are still alive! All this vacationing is exhausting. Liberty is thee best traveler around. We planned to vacation with my dad this summer in Pennsylvania to visit his side of the family. Since they had not met Miss Liberty yet we were all excited. As the alarm sounded at 3am we started to have second thoughts. Liberty was awesome woke up fine, made it through security thanks to helpful advice from everyone. She had hotcakes and milk for breakfast, and slept every flight we had. We had a nice visit in Chicago while changing planes. The weather there was GREAT. PERFECT, no humidity!! Low 80's we all loved it. Our first day was settling in and visiting with family. We visited the Philadelphia Zoo where my cousin J works, we didn't get to see him because they were getting ready to move the elephants and he was heading that project up. Liberty loved the petting zoo, we always miss that part of our zoo back home so she was thrilled. We spent another day at Seaside Heights Shore in Jersey. Family traditions of playing games on the boardwalk and buying salt water taffy. The highlight of the vacation was Sesame Place. Where we got to meet ELMO and Super Grover, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie. It was FUN. and Liberty Loved it. She was only big enough to ride the carousel but she had a ball, lots of squels and clapping. It was great. Seeing and spending time with my dad was a gift in it self. I forget how much I miss him and I don't care how old I get I will always cry when he leaves. We planned our flight together so we could hang out at the airport which was nice. Now that we are home it't time to pack again for a road trip. Were leaving for Searcy, Ak on Sunday to visit some of Derek's friends.

Liberty's First Birthday

Thank you everyone who came out to her birthday! I know it was HOT and we were also having it the same day as the taste of summer. Next year if it is going to be this hot will will have it indoors somewhere. We did our best and I hope everyone had fun! Liberty has been teething so for the first part of her party she was just not happy but as it cooled down and she had her teething rings she was happy! Derek and I sat back after the party and we felt BLESSED. To have friends that would come by and endure that heat for Liberty we are blessed. I am excited that our new neighbors came by. They don't have kids and don't really know us so we were excited to see them and hope for friendships to grow. Those who couldn't make we missed and understand sick kids and needing to get A/C fixed. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better, well maybe a pool!!
